At first, people thought it was just a fluke, a result of the table being uneven or the glass being faulty. But then they realized that the glass only misbehaved when it was around a certain waiter named Tom.
Tom was a mischievous sort, always cracking jokes and playing pranks on his fellow waiters and the diners alike.
