Once upon a time, in a small village, there was an old fan named Freddie. Freddie was an old, dusty and rusty fan, who lived in a corner of a garage. He had seen many things in his long life but was still in good condition.
One day, a new family moved into the village and they were in need of a fan. They went to the garage to see if they could find one, and there they found Freddie, who was very pleased to finally have a purpose in life again.
Freddie was excited to be taken out of the garage and put in the family's living room. He was finally going to get a chance to show off his moves. He started by gently blowing a light breeze, but the family didn't seem to notice. Freddie thought that maybe they just wanted a stronger breeze, so he turned himself up to full speed.
The family was so surprised by the sudden gust of wind that they all ran for cover. The father of the family shouted, "What's going on?! Is it a tornado or something?" The mother just yelled, "Turn it off! Turn it off!"
Freddie was so embarrassed. He had never been turned off before and he was scared. He started to slow down, but the family was still running for cover. The father finally got close enough to reach the switch and turned Freddie off.
Freddie felt so defeated. He thought he was going to spend the rest of his days back in the garage, gathering dust and rust. But the next day, the family came back and turned Freddie on again. This time, they put a piece of cloth over him so that he wouldn't blow too strong.
Freddie was happy to be back in action. He started to gently blow the breeze and the family was so happy with the cool air. They started to dance and sing and have a great time. Freddie felt so proud of himself. He finally found his place in the world and he was happy.
From that day on, Freddie was known as the cool breeze in the village. Everyone wanted to come over to the family's house and feel the cool air that Freddie provided. Freddie was so proud to have finally found his purpose in life.
And so, Freddie lived happily ever after, providing cool breezes to all who wanted them, and always being the life of the party. He may have been an old fan, but he still had plenty of life left in him. The end.
