The Quirky Answers of Selena Gomez

The Quirky Answers of Selena Gomez
Selena Gomez was a multi-talented artist. She could act, sing, and dance all at the same time. And on top of that, she was a smart cookie! So when she appeared on a popular talk show, the host decided to put her intelligence to the test by asking some tricky questions.

The first question was, "What is the capital of New York?" Selena paused for a moment and said, "Hmm, I'm going to have to go with...N." The host was baffled, "N? What do you mean by N?" Selena replied with a grin, "You know, the capital letter N."

The host tried not to laugh, "I'm sorry Selena, but N is not the capital of New York. It's Albany." Selena shrugged and said, "Oh well, close enough."

The next question was, "What is the largest planet in our solar system?" Selena looked up and pondered for a moment. Then she confidently replied, "Jupiter. It's the largest planet, right?" The host nodded, "Correct! You got that one right."

Feeling confident, Selena was ready for the next question, "What is the tallest mountain in the world?" She immediately answered, "Mount Everest!" The host was impressed, "Wow, you're on a roll. That's correct too."

But the host wasn't going to let her off the hook that easily. He asked her a trick question, "What is heavier: a pound of feathers or a pound of bricks?" Selena looked at him skeptically, "Wait a minute, that's a trick question! They both weigh the same because it's a pound!" The audience roared with laughter as Selena showed off her cleverness.

Finally, the host asked her a grammar question, "What is the past tense of the verb 'to see'?" Selena replied confidently, "Saw." The host shook his head, "Sorry Selena, that's incorrect. It's actually 'seen'." Selena laughed, "Oh well, can't win them all."

The host and the audience couldn't help but chuckle at Selena's quirky answers. Even though she may not have known all the answers, she had a good sense of humor and was willing to take risks. Selena had shown that being smart didn't mean being perfect, it meant being willing to try and have fun along the way.
